DESCRIPTION

This beginner-friendly jewelry making class is a creative way to slow down, work with your hands, and make something truly personal during your time on Hawai’i island.

During this 2 to 3 hour workshop, you'll make a set of two bangles, one with a seashell. For your second bangle, you can select a hammered texture, a wave pattern, or a smooth finish, creating a beautiful stack that can be worn together or separately. When you purchase the class, you’ll choose between sterling silver or brass for your bracelet.

Using traditional silversmithing tools and techniques, I'll guide you step by step through the entire process. You'll learn how to measure, form, texture, solder, and finish your bangles with professional jewelry making tools. By the end of the class, you'll leave with two handcrafted bangles along with the skills and experience of creating them yourself.

This workshop is perfect for couples, friends, families, and anyone looking for a meaningful hands-on experience on the Big Island.

Each workshop is intentionally small, with a maximum of four people, allowing for personalized guidance in a relaxed and inspiring studio environment.

No prior experience is needed. Beginners are welcome.

How to purchase: Send me a message with your preferred date and the number of participants and I’ll do my best to accommodate your schedule. The price listed is per person and each class requires a minimum of two people. Once we confirm a date, you can return here to purchase your workshop.

Prices:

Sterling Silver Bangle Class: $245 per person
Brass Bangle Class: $175 per person

Please note: Brass will lose its shiny finish and naturally change color with wear. Some people are also sensitive to this metal. If you have sensitive skin, sterling silver may be the better choice. Gold-filled is not offered for this workshop because is not well suited for a beginner class.

Location: Workshops take place in my home studio in Kalapana Seaview Estates on the Puna District of the Big Island of Hawaiʻi, about 45 minutes from Hilo. Cancelation policy

Please review our cancellation policy:

Cancellations made 7 or more days before the class: Full refund

Cancellations made less than 7 days but at least 48 hours before the class: 50% refund

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the class or no-shows: No refund

Rescheduling: You can reschedule if you give 48 hours’ notice or more.
