Create a silver ring by hand in a private artist studio on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi.

Spend the day learning silversmithing with personalized guidance and professional tools. This class offers a creative experience where you slow down, work with your hands, and leave with a ring that carries the memory of your time in Hawaiʻi.

Using traditional silversmithing tools and techniques, I’ll guide you step by step as you design and create your own sterling silver ring from scratch. You’ll choose from a selection of stones and locally collected seashells to make your piece uniquely your own.

Each workshop is intentionally small, with a maximum of four people, allowing for personalized guidance in a relaxed and inspiring studio environment.

By the end of the day, you’ll leave with a finished handmade ring and a one-of-a-kind memory from Hawaiʻi.

No prior experience is needed. Beginners are welcome.

How to purchase: Send me a message with your preferred date and the number of participants, and I’ll do my best to accommodate your schedule (each class requires a minimum of two people). Once we confirm a date, you can return here to purchase your workshop.

Prices:

One person:$300 (when joining a group class)

Two People: $600 ($300 per person)

Three People: $750 ($250 per person)

Four People: $1000 ($250 per person)

Location: Workshops take place in my home studio in Kalapana Seaview Estates on the the Puna District of the Big Island of Hawaiʻi, about 45 minutes from Hilo. Additional details and the studio address will be sent via email a few days before the class. Please provide an accurate email address and phone number at checkout.

Please note: This is a full-day immersive workshop that lasts approximately 6 hours. Be prepared to spend the day here and wear comfortable clothing. We’ll take a break halfway through the day, where I’ll provide iced tea and a snack platter. Please bring water and any additional food or drinks you may need to stay nourished throughout the day.

Cancelation policy

Please review our cancellation policy:

Cancellations made 7 or more days before the class: Full refund

Cancellations made less than 7 days but at least 48 hours before the class: 50% refund

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the class or no-shows: No refund

Rescheduling: You can reschedule if you give 48 hours’ notice or more.
